Scheduled for April 21-22
EDGEWOOD, Ky. (April 8, 2016) — Gateway Community and Technical College will host a Health Professions Career Expo and Open House from 6-8 p.m. on April 21 and 9 a.m. to noon on April 22 at Gateway’s Edgewood Campus, 790 Thomas More Pkwy.
Gateway students and the public are invited to attend this event and learn more about the variety of health profession opportunities at Gateway that lead to exciting careers in nursing, Emergency Medical Services (EMT), paramedic, massage therapy, Health Information Technology (HIT) and medical assisting.
Attendees will be invited to participate in demonstrations and hands-on activities related to many of the professions. They will also have the opportunity to learn about career outlook, salary levels, education requirements and job duties of health professions. Faculty, advisors and financial aid personnel will be available to talk to current and prospective students.
