New GLI hires fill open economic development positions

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 22, 2016) —  In a move to fill two key positions on GLI’s Economic Development team, GLI is proud to announce the hiring of a Talent Attraction & Development Manager and an Economic Development Manager.

Stacey Servo will lead talent attraction efforts for GLI.  She is well experienced in this realm as the founder of New2Lou, a social organization and resource for Louisville transplants.

“Being a transplant to Louisville herself, we think she brings a wonderful balance of real-life experience and interpretation, as well as, a technical skillset that can help us with our internet and social media strategies around attracting folks to Greater Louisville,” said Deana Epperly Karem, Vice President of Regional Economic Growth for GLI.

GLI is currently focused on talent attraction as a key strategic goal in growing Louisville’s economy.  In the first quarter of 2016, GLI’s data managers identified 8,800 open positions in the Greater Louisville region that required an associate’s degree or higher.

Servo will be responsible for a number of talent attraction strategies, specifically a talent ambassador program and launching a talent toolkit website for people interested in helping others relocate to Greater Louisville.  She starts on Monday, April 25th.

Sierra Enlow will be GLI’s Economic Development Manager.  Currently, she is a Development Manger within GLI, but she will transition into her new role in the coming weeks.  Enlow will be managing client services within Advance Greater Louisville, the bi-state, 15-county regional partnership to accelerate business attraction in the area.

“Sierra has developed some important relationships for our company, and she has a keen sense of how the regional partnership works,” Karem said.

Enlow is also currently the Kentucky Chapter Co-Director for the New Leaders Council.  She will transition from Membership into the Economic Development team May 2nd.
