FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 22, 2016) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

  • William F. Smith, M.D. has been appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Retirement Systems for a term expiring March 31, 2019.
  • Linda S. Thompson has been appointed to the Tourism Development Finance Authority for a term expiring Jan. 31, 2020
  • Vanda N. Rice has been appointed to the Tourism Development Finance Authority for a term expiring Jan. 31, 2008
  • Timothy D. Bates has been appointed to the Tourism Development Finance Authority for a term expiring April 21, 2020
  • Matthew R. Hayden has been appointed to the Tourism Development Finance Authority for a term expiring April 21, 2020.
  • Kay Alice Berggren has been reappointed to the Tourism Development Finance Authority for a term expiring Jan. 31, 2020.
  • Dwight Sears has been appointed to the Governor’s Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee for a term expiring April 14, 2022.
  • Edwin Orange has been appointed to the Governor’s Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee  for a term expiring April 14, 2022.
  • Robert M. Billingsley has been appointed to the Governor’s Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee for the remainder of the unexpired term ending April 14, 2020.
