St. Elizabeth Healthcare hires VP for marketing leadership

EDGEWOOD, Ky. (May 4, 2016) — Matthew Hollenkamp has been hired to fill a newly created vice president-level marketing leadership slot for St. Elizabeth Healthcare. Hollenkamp, a senior brand manager responsible for global new business/brand creation and innovation for Procter & Gamble’s beauty business, begins on May 9.

He brings more than 17 years of marketing, brand-building and product development experience to St. Elizabeth, including nine years at the global consumer products company, along with prior experience in healthcare and in the non-profit sectors.

Hollenkamp is an accomplished marketing executive who has held several senior brand management positions in the health & beauty business at P&G and recently was head of Sports Marketing in North America. In the sports marketing role, he developed P&G’s largest ever sports sponsorship program — a deal with the NFL that spans all brands and was backed by P&G’s first-ever NFL season long multi-brand commercial innovation initiative. Hollenkamp previously led Braun in North America where he pioneered an innovative 100% digital marketing strategy that propelled the brand to record-breaking growth and the fastest growing business in P&G beauty. As a senior marketer on Secret Deodorant, he also launched the renowned “Mean Stinks” social media platform which enabled the brand’s Facebook page to be the second-fastest growing page globally at the time.

Hollenkamp began his career at Catholic Charities of Northern Kentucky as Director of Marketing and Fund Development. He received his bachelor’s degree from Northern Kentucky University and completed his MBA at Xavier University, where he maintains advisory board positions. He has been active in the Northern Kentucky community and currently serves on the Board of Education at St. Thomas Catholic School in Fort Thomas.
