Governor makes appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions

Eight appointments named

FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 13, 2016) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

John R. Farris has been appointed as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kentucky Retirement Systems. Farris, of Lexington, replaces Michael E. Cherry, of Princeton, whose term expired, for a term expiring March 31, 2020.

Doreen Showalter Goodwin has been appointed as Family Court Judge for the 12th Judicial Circuit, Division 2. Showalter Goodwin, of LaGrange, replaces the Honorable Tim Feeley, who resigned, for a term expiring in November 2016.

Robert D. Neace has been appointed to the Prosecutors Advisory Council. Neace, of Union, is replacing Christian County Attorney Mike Foster, who resigned.

Jane Rice Williams has been reappointed as an Administrative Law Judge in the Department of Workers’ Claims. Williams, of London, will serve for a term expiring July 14, 2020.

Robert Alred, Jr., has been appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 26th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky. Alred, Jr., of Loyall, is replacing Tina R. Blanton, Wallins, whose term expired, for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

Anthony M. Felosi has been appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 26th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky. Felosi, of Wallins, is replacing Rosemary Hamm, Harlan, whose term expired, for a term expiring January 1, 2018.

Danny Castle has been appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 26th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky. Castle, of Harlan, is replacing Jeremy O. Jackson, Baxter, whose term expired, for a term expiring January 1, 2020.

Joseph R. Gluck has been appointed to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the 26th Judicial Circuit and District of Kentucky. Glick, of Cumberland, is replacing Julie A. Jackson, Harlan whose term expired, for a term expiring January 1, 2020.
