LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 18, 2016) — Artists and builders—professionals and amateurs—recently participated in Barkitecture Louisville, which included a silent auction of 19 doghouse designs that raised $5,000 towards a new facility to help homeless animals in Louisville.

Barkitecture Louisville is expected to become an annual event, said representatives from Friends of Louisville Metro Animal Services.

Some of the doghouses are on display at Animal House, LMAS’s adoption facility, at 3516 Newburg Road.
