Automotive supplier to break ground on $110M Nelson County plant that will employ 216

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (May 19, 2016) — Officials on Friday will break ground on a $110 million automotive supplier plant that will employ 216 people. Thai Summit America’s plant will produce stamped and welded aluminum assemblies for the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant. The groundbreaking will be at 10 a.m. at the Bardstown Country Club.

Those scheduled to attend the groundbreaking are: Gov. Matt Bevin; His Excellency Manawapat, Ambassador of Thailand to the U.S.; Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit, chairman, Thai Summit America Corp.; Dr. Woody Iddhibhakdibongse, vice president administration, Thai Summit America Corp.; Kentucky Sen. Jimmy Higdon; Hon. Dean Watts, Nelson County judge-executive; Kim Huston, president, Nelson County Economic Development Agency.
