Baptist Health opens Harrodsburg Road clinics, retail pharmacy

LEXINGTON, KY. (July 15, 2016) – Baptist Health has opened two clinics on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington and a retail pharmacy in its new North Tower at 1740 Nicholasville Road.

Baptist Health Urgent Care and Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care have opened at 2040 Harrodsburg Road.

Open seven days a week, Baptist Health Urgent Care sees patients who have urgent medical needs without an appointment. Hours are 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, and the phone number for the clinic is 859.899.7993.

Conditions for which one might seek urgent care are animal bites, X-rays, stitches, mild asthma, minor headaches, minor back pain, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, coughs and sore throats, bumps, cuts or scrapes, ear or sinus pain, sprains and vaccinations.

For those seeking primary care, Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care providers Erika Clark, MD; Wanda Harrison, MD, and Melissa McIntyre, APRN, are accepting new patients. The clinic is open 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and the phone number is 859.899.7990.

The new Baptist Health Pharmacy serves outpatients and newly discharged patients, offering them convenient access to get prescriptions filled after seeing their doctor or after a hospital stay. The pharmacy is open 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Customers may transfer their prescriptions to the new pharmacy by bringing their medication containers to the pharmacy, or by calling the pharmacy at 859.639.3900.
