Louisville to host Fandomfest Comic & Toy Show

LOUISVILLE, Ky (July 22, 2016) — More than 20,000 celebrities, authors, artists and fans of anime, horror, pop culture, sci-fi, steampunk, comic books, gaming, film, television and literature are expected to be at the Kentucky Exposition Center July 29-31 for Fandomfest Comic & Toy Show, the largest comic con in the region.

The family-friendly weekend offers a full schedule of gaming, panel sessions, cosplay, photo ops and autographs, a parade and shopping. The list of celebrities, authors and artists continues to grow and currently is approaching 75.

Guests include:

  • Kevin Smith: one night only for a special screening of “Yoga Hosers”
  • Stan Lee: creator of some of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe
  • Jason Priestly: rose to fame as a teen idol on “Beverly Hills, 90210”
  • Anthony Michael Hall: lead actor in USA Network’s “The Dead Zone”
  • Eric Beebe: owner/founder of Post Mortem Press
  • Angel Medina: illustrator for Marvel, Megaton and Image Comics
  • Kent McCord: star of NBC’s popular and iconic “Adam-12”
  • John Dugan: best known for his role in “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre”
