Hiring for Kentucky State Fair temporary employees begins Monday, Aug. 8. More than 750 temporary employees will be hired for and during the 11-day event. Pay begins at $8.25 per hour for positions that include maintenance, grounds, housekeeping and gate attendants.
Applicants must apply in person. They must be at least 18 years old and provide proper identification to verify work eligibility, such as photo ID and a
Social Security Card.
Applicants should apply in person Monday, Aug. 8 through Wednesday, Aug. 10 at Kentucky Exposition Center, South Wing C; applicants can also apply Thursday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 28 at Kentucky Exposition Center Gate 4, off Crittenden Drive, in the Employment Trailer.
