Provides information for students

FLORENCE, Ky. (Aug. 9, 2016) — Gateway Community and Technical College will host a welcome to campus party for new students from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Friday at the Urban Metro campus in Covington.

Gateway Go! is an interactive experience where students will be able to meet faculty and staff, find out more about activities at Gateway from student leaders, take tours, have campus and class questions answered, get college IDs, visit the bookstore to get books and make connections with classmates before beginning classes next week.

In addition, there will be free pizza and Kona Ice for students with IDs and their families. Students will enjoy giveaways, games and may even find a Pokemon or two in the neighborhood!

Free parking is available with validation at the Midtown Garage at the corner of 5th and Scott streets in Covington (parking validation inside TIE Building at 516 Madison).

Gateway fall 2016 classes begin Aug. 15 at the Urban Metro, Edgewood and Boone Campuses. For more information or to enroll, call 855-3-GO-GCTC (855-346-4282).
