Gov. Bevin makes appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 19, 2016) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made the appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

  • Dr. Harry W. Carloss has been appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. Carloss, of Paducah, is a retired physician. Dr. Carloss will represent the 1st Fish and Wildlife District and will serve for a term expiring Aug.13, 2020.
  • Kevin R. Bond has been appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. Bond, of Burlington, is President/CEO of Trademark Plumbing. Mr. Bond will represent the 5th Fish and Wildlife District and will serve for a term expiring Aug. 13, 2020.
  • James B. “Jimmy” Bevins has been appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. Bevins, of Frankfort, is the president and owner of Bevins Motor Company. Mr. Bevins will represent the 6th Fish and Wildlife District and will serve for a term expiring Aug. 13, 2020.
  • Paul B. Horn has been appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. Horn, of Prestonsburg, is a mining engineer and president of Booth Energy. Mr. Horn will represent the 7th Fish and Wildlife District and will serve for a term expiring Aug. 13, 2019.
  • Richard M. Storm has been appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. Storm, of Carlisle, is a farmer and general contractor. He will represent the 8th Fish and Wildlife District and will serve for a term expiring Aug.13, 2018.
  • Dr. Karl D. Clinard has been appointed to the Fish and Wildlife Resources Commission. Clinard, of Somerset, is a retired orthodontist and former law enforcement officer. He will represent the 9th Fish and Wildlife District and will serve for a term expiring Aug. 13, 2019. 
  • Virginia M. Rose has been appointed to the Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Rose, of Lexington, is a speech-language pathologist. She will represent speech-language pathologists and will serve for a term expiring July 15, 2019.
  • Terry L. Shaw has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Pedorthics. Shaw, of Owensboro, is a certified prosthetist and orthotist. He will serve for a term expiring July 1, 2019.
  • Joshua K. Ramsey has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Occupational Therapy. Ramsey, of Summer Shade, is an occupational therapist. He will represent licensed occupational therapists and will serve for a term expiring July 15, 2019.
  • Margaret W. Meredith has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists. Meredith, of Harrodsburg, is a CPA. She will represent consumers and serve for a term expiring Feb. 1, 2018.
