No. 13 UofL opens ACC tonight at Syracuse; WKU plays No. 1 Alabama on Saturday

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 9, 2016) — No. 13 Louisville opens Atlantic Coast Conference play at 8 tonight at Syracuse. The game will be shown on ESPN2.

UofL (1-0) is coming off an impressive 70-14 victory against Charlotte. The Cardinals led 56-0 at halftime. Syracuse (1-0) beat Colgate 33-7 last week.

In other games, Western Kentucky gets a shot at No. 1 Alabama. The Hilltoppers (1-0) play at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The game will be on ESPN2.

In Alabama’s 52-6 victory last week against USC, Madison Southern grad Damien Harris rushed for a team-best and career-high 138 yards on nine carries. Harris had 157 rushing yards all of last season as a freshman.

UK (0-1) also plays at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in its conference opener at Florida (1-0). The game will be on CBS.
