UK football to host EKU, UofL in 2017

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 14, 2016) — The University of Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky will meet on the gridiron again in 2017. UK released its schedule today. Non-conference games include a visit to Southern Miss, which beat UK 44-35 this year in Lexington, and home games against EKU, Louisville and Eastern Michigan.

In addition to playing everyone in the East Division of the SEC, plus the yearly game against West Division rival Mississippi State, UK also will host Mississippi.

UK hosted EKU in 2015, with the Wildcats needing to rally from down 27-13 in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 27-all, forcing overtime, where UK won 34.27.
