LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 15, 2016) — Lexington Parks and Recreation has announced the newest addition to the annual Thriller and Halloween parade — a Wicked Wonders Market featuring artists’ wares that are in line with the spooky spirit of the season. The vendor application deadline is Sept. 30.
The market will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 29 at Fifth Third Pavilion in Cheapside Park, Main Street. The parade begins at 8.
Local and regional artists are encouraged to participate in the bizarre bazaar. Applicants must provide five images that represent works that would be sold, in addition to one image and/or drawing of the proposed booth display.
Artwork will be judged on these images and must be relevant to Halloween – whimsical and magical or macabre and spooky in nature. Please label each image as it corresponds to the application and email images to [email protected].
