Amazon to hire 120,000 seasonal workers in U.S.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 14, 2016) — Amazon this week announced it is creating more than 120,000 seasonal positions across its U.S. network of fulfillment centers, sortation centers and customer service sites this holiday season. Last year, more than 14,000 seasonal positions were transitioned to regular, full-time roles after the holidays and the company expects to increase that number this year.

Seasonal positions are being offered in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Amazon has 12 locations in Kentucky, in Campbellsville, Hebron, Lexington, Louisville and Shepherdsville.
