Kentucky Hemp Industries Assoc. to hold annual holiday party at Spindletop Hall

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 6, 2016) — The Kentucky Hemp Industries Association will hold its annual Hemp Holiday Party at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13 at Spindletop Hall.

Spindletop’s culinary team will put together a selection of nutritious and delicious hemp-infused appetizers, made with local hemp provided by KYHIA member and local hemp foods company, Victory Hemp Foods. Along with these menu items there will be cash bar available from 7-10 p.m. The live music performance will start at 7 p.m. by local, award-winning bluegrass musicians, The Wooks. The Wooks recently won the Rockygrass Band Competition in Lyons, Colorado.

The event serves as a gathering for KYHIA members, but also welcomes non-members who may be interested in getting involved in or supporting the emerging hemp industry in Kentucky. KYHIA members plus one guest will receive free admission; non-member tickets are$10. The event is sponsored by several member companies including: CV Sciences, Sunstrand LLC, Sustane Natural Fertilizer, Atalo Holdings, The Media Collaboratory, Campbell & Smith, Attorney’s at Law, Victory Hemp Foods, Seed CX, and Full Circle Market.

The KYHIA strives to be the leading educational and advocacy outlet for hemp in Kentucky while promoting Kentucky hemp products and brands. The KYHIA is a state chapter of the Hemp Industries Association (HIA) and is a 501(c)(6) membership-based non-profit trade group. KYHIA members include hemp researchers, farmers, processors, product developers, manufacturers, distributors, marketers and educators.
