Legislative leaders from the state House and Senate will share the stage at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s annual 2017 Legislative Preview Conference on Dec. 19 in Lexington to discuss the key issues they feel face the Commonwealth ahead of the 2017 session of the General Assembly.

Senate President Robert Stivers, Senate Majority Floor Leader Damon Thayer, and new House Majority Floor Leader-Designate Jonathan Shell will join Kentucky Chamber President and CEO Dave Adkisson for the first legislative panel of the day at 9 a.m. to preview what they expect from the 2017 session.

The 2017 Legislative Preview Conference will be the first opportunity to hear from the leaders together since the historic 2016 elections where Republicans won the majority in the state House for the first time in nearly 100 years.

Chamber President Adkisson will discuss the possibilities that the new political landscape presents for Kentucky and talk about issues important to the business community with the leaders.

The Legislative Preview provides you with a rare opportunity to hear many of Kentucky’s top public officials discuss their plans, priorities and predictions before the General Assembly convenes in January.
