Two appointments named
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Dec. 21, 2016) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Kentucky
- Larry Robinson, of Cold Spring, is a retired IT consultant. Robinson will serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2020.
- Mary Michael Corbett, of Louisville, is a public affairs and business development strategist. Corbett will serve for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2020.
The Judicial Nominating Commission for the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court of Kentucky is composed of seven members. The commission includes the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, who serves as the chair; two members of the Kentucky Bar Association, elected by their fellow members; and four members appointed by the governor from among persons not members of the of the Kentucky Bar Association The commission also includes two members of each political party.
