Also names vice president of operations
RUSSELL SPRINGS, Ky. (Dec. 28, 2016) — Branscum Construction Company, lnc. has promoted Josh Branscum to executive vice president and Jonathan Smith to vice president of operations.
Branscum worked in the field while he completed his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication at Georgetown College in 2005 and Bachelor of Science in Construction Management at Eastern Kentucky University in 2007.
After graduation, Branscum joined Branscum Construction’s MED (Marketing, Estimating & Design) Department and oversaw all areas of Project Development.
He was later promoted into the role of business development director and managed business relations and project acquisitions.
Smith, who joined Branscum Construct¡on in 1993, completed h¡s Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Math at Lindsey Wilson College and he attended the Construction Estimating Institute before joining Branscum Construction’s estimating department.
He has spent the past 17 years estimating and working closely with project managers, clients and subcontractors. Smith has vast experience with multiple delivery methods on a wide range and various types of projects.
As vice president of operations, Smith will continue to be in charge of the day-to-day field operations for Branscum Construction Company.
