KCTCS, HCC, WKCTC selected as finalists for national community college award

Winners will be announced Jan. 31

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 4, 2017) — The Kentucky Community and Technical College System, Hopkinsville Community College and West Kentucky Community and Technical College have been selected as finalists for Bellwether Awards sponsored by the Community College Futures Assembly (CCFA). All three were selected as finalists in the category of Planning, Governance, & Finance.

Finalists:

• Hopkinsville Community College Hopkinsville — CIVIC CLUBS as Partners in Progress. Flipping finance: Funding Unbound! Finding Philanthropy, Focusing on Private/Public Partnership
• Kentucky Community and Technical College System Versailles — The KCTCS Innovative Educator Academy: Enabling Innovation in the Community College
• West Kentucky Community and Technical College Paducah — Free Community College Tuition Does Make a Difference

Winners will be announced Jan. 31 at the CCFA annual meeting in Orlando.
