Sixth consecutive year recognized
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 25, 2016) – ARGI Financial Group, a Louisville based personal and business financial services firm, was recently named one of the 2017 Best Places to Work in Kentucky (BPTWKY) in the small-sized employer category*. This will be the sixth consecutive time ARGI has been recognized for this award.
Hosted by the Kentucky Society for Human Resources Management (KYSHRM) state council and the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, The Best Places to Work initiative celebrates its 13th year identifying and recognizing the best places of employment in Kentucky.
Companies across the Commonwealth participated in the two-part application process. Companies applying to BPTWKY must complete a detailed employee benefits and policies questionnaire, and an employee engagement and satisfaction survey, conducted by the independent research firm, Best Companies Group.
To be considered for participation, companies have to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:
- Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity
- Be a publicly or privately held business
- Have a facility in the state of Kentucky
- Have 15+ full and/or part-time permanent Kentucky employees
Must be in business a minimum of 1 yearARGI is one of 40 companies recognized in the small-sized employer category, and one of 100 companies recognized in the state. In 2016, ARGI grew its workforce more than 25%, and company leaders attribute that to not only explosive company growth, but to newly implemented employee recognition programs, competitive benefits packages and a corporate social responsibility program, ARGI Gives.

ARGI will be recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Kentucky 13th Annual Awards Dinner on Wednesday April 26. The final rankings will be announced at the event. The Best Places to Work in Kentucky Magazine, which recognizes the winners and their final rankings, will be released for statewide distribution at that time as well.
