Expansion of existing facility
FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 26, 2017) — The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority today approved a $40 million investment proposal by Asahi Bluegrass Forge Corporation, a subsidiary of Asahi Forge of America, to expand its manufacturing facility on Bill Robertson Way in Richmond.
Asahi, which specializes in press forging for the automotive industry, producing parts as gears, bearings and joints and transmission parts, would create 50 jobs, paying an average hourly wage of $24.
