2017 Leadership Summit aims to prepare Louisville-area leaders for future

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 2, 2017) — The 2017 Leadership Summit will be held from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on March 9 at The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville. The event is typically attended by hundreds of regional business and community leaders.

image005This year’s theme is “Leading for the Future.” Morning keynote address will be given by Erica Dhawan, an author, strategist and the world’s foremost expert on collaboration and connectional intelligence. The closing keynote speaker will be Dr. Nat Irvin, II, author, innovator, futurist, teacher, composer and commentator and Woodrow M. Strickler executive in residence and professor of Management Practice for the College of Business at the University of Louisville.

Featured speakers include: Trey Grayson, president and CEO of the NKY Chamber of Commerce; Kirsten Hawley, SVP, chief human relations officer of Brown-Forman Corporation; Grace Simrall, chief of Civic Innovation for Louisville Metro Government; Sherman Bradley, founder of Consider the Poor of Ohio; Lisa Zangari, director of Learning for the Leadership Louisville Center; and Richard Sisto, jazz musician & mindfulness trainer; and more.
