Kentucky attorney among young lawyers honored by ABA

MIAMI (Feb. 3, 2017) — Stoll Keenon Ogden Attorney Carl N. Frazier is one of three lawyers being honored this weekend by the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division.

Frazier is a finalist for the 2016 William Reece Jr. National Outstanding Young Lawyer Award, an annual recognition of an ABA young lawyer who exhibits professional excellence, service to the profession and the bar, service to the community, and a reputation for or the advancement of legal ethics and professional responsibility.

Since joining SKO in 2007, Frazier has been honored with numerous awards demonstrating his high level of professionalism and service. These include the Fayette County Outstanding Young Lawyer Award, Transylvania University Young Professional Award and his election as Barrister of the Central Kentucky American Inn of Court.

In 2016 Frazier was named the Kentucky Bar Association’s 2016 Outstanding Young Lawyer, recognizing a Kentucky attorney under 40 who has excelled in the practice of law, service to the legal profession and community, and whose contributions to both the legal profession and the public are exceptional.

“Nomination for this prestigious award is an amazing accomplishment and a testament to Carl’s superb reputation as an outstanding lawyer, servant to the public and bar leader,” said Lacy Durham, chair of the ABA’s National Outstanding Young Lawyer Award.

According to Durham, Katy Boatman of Houston was selected as the 2016 National Outstanding Young Lawyer; Timothy Ting of Carbondale, IL joins Frazier as a finalist. “The Board commends Carl on his amazing accomplishments and remarkable reputation within his community,” Durham said.
