Cardinals move up two spots
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 6, 2017) — The University of Louisville basketball team keeps winning and keeps moving up the AP Top 25 poll, while the University of Kentucky keeps losing and dropping in the poll.
UofL (19-4) last week beat North Carolina State 85-60 and Boston College 90-67. The Cardinals, who moved up two spots in the polls, have won four straight and seven of eight. They play at 7 tonight at No. 12 Virginia. The game is on ESPN.
UK (18-5) rallied to beat Georgia 90-81 in overtime, then got stomped at No. 24 Florida 88-66. The Wildcats have gone 1-3 in their past four games, after starting the season 17-2. They dropped seven spots in the polls this week and have fallen 10 spots in two weeks.
