Targets KCTCS students
MURRAY, Ky. (Feb. 13, 2017) — Murray State University’s Program of Distinction in telecommunications systems management (TSM) has announced the TSM Transfer Scholarship, a renewable scholarship through the Murray State University Foundation that will be awarded annually to transfer students in TSM.
The Center for TSM intends to award multiple scholarships this year and plans to grow the scholarship fund in the future. The scholarship will target students transferring from the Kentucky Community & Technical College System, where TSM has an articulation agreement.
The scholarship will assist students with tuition, room, board, fees and other related costs. Applicants must be full-time or part-time undergraduate students who transferred from a community college and are majoring in telecommunications systems management with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
The program was designed to focus on the information systems infrastructure in the rapidly growing telecommunications industry. TSM is an interdisciplinary program that provides students a solid foundation in information systems technologies and the application of those technologies in a business environment.
