PIKEVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 16, 2017) — Ancil Lewis, CEO of Big Sandy Health Care, will be the featured speaker for the University of Pikeville’s Coleman College of Business Speakers and Leadership Series at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 in Booth Auditorium. Lewis will speak about “Healthcare Business in Appalachia.” The event is free and open to the public.
Lewis has been CEO of Big Sandy Health Care for 19 years. Before that he served as MBA program director and instructor of management and marketing at Morehead State University. Lewis has a master’s degree in sociology, master of social work in health systems and an MBA in management.
He has served as an adjunct faculty member for several institutions and currently teaches at University of Pikeville-Coleman College of Business, University of Kentucky College of Social Work and Big Sandy Community and Technical College.
