Two Ky. radio stations among finalists for National Association of Broadcasters award

(March 1, 2017) — WBUL 98.1 The Bull, a country station in Lexington that also airs University of Kentucky sports, and D93 WDNS, a classic rock station in Bowling Green, are among 50 finalists nationwide honored by the National Association of Broadcasters for the 30th Annual NAB Crystal Radio Awards.

Since 1987, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards have recognized radio stations for their outstanding year-round commitment to community service. Winners will be announced and the finalists will be honored at the NAB Radio Luncheon April 25 in Las Vegas.

Ten Crystal Radio Award recipients will be chosen by a panel of judges representing broadcasting, community service organizations and public relations firms. Finalists will be honored and winners announced at the NAB Radio Luncheon.
