Expanded schedule to provide further flexibility and convenience
PITTSBURGH – March 2, 2017 – OneJet, the air transportation network that provides increased access to nonstop travel in small and medium size markets, today announced additional flights to two existing markets from Pittsburgh International Airport.
Beginning April 3, OneJet will add second flights to Richmond, Va. and to Louisville, reducing travel time between Pittsburgh and the respective cities to one hour on average. OneJet announced the introduction of a Richmond route in December, and Louisville was introduced in July 2016. The routes are part of a rapidly growing list of OneJet destinations from Pittsburgh, including Hartford, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Cincinnati and Albany.
“We’re extremely pleased to offer increased schedule options for our customers in these markets. These secondary flights will create additional flexibility for both Pittsburgh based customers as well as those originating travel in Richmond and Louisville, providing convenient morning and afternoon departure options,” said OneJet’s Chief Executive Officer Matthew Maguire. “After reviewing booking trends in these markets, and comparing them to our experience in other multi-frequency markets, we saw an opportunity to better meet our customers needs and fulfill additional travel demand.”
The additional flights to both cities will go on sale March 1st, with service beginning April 3rd, pursuant to the following schedule:
• Pittsburgh – Richmond, departing 08:35am and arriving 09:30am
• Richmond – Pittsburgh, departing 9:50am and arriving 10:50am

Passengers on the routes will enjoy a variety of travel-enhancing benefits, including TSA Pre access for eligible travelers, expedited boarding, complimentary high speed in flight WIFI, and a selection of healthy snacks.
“We are thrilled to see OneJet continuing to expand, and pleased to see Richmond and Louisville, two important business markets in the Pittsburgh region, added to their offerings,” said Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald. “These cities are not otherwise served nonstop on traditional carriers, so OneJet provides critical access for our business leaders to travel more efficiently to and from the region.”
Providing increased connectivity to travelers in this market is a priority for Pittsburgh International Airport. “OneJet is an important partner in providing nonstop service to seven regional cities from Pittsburgh,” said Allegheny County Airport Authority CEO Christina Cassotis. “These additional flight frequencies to Louisville and Richmond mean additional opportunities for businesses to develop and grow. We look forward to announcing new routes and more service on OneJet later this year.”
