Gov. Bevin makes appointments to boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 3, 2017) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made  appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

Kentucky Authority for Educational Television.

  • Jeffrey Scott Jobe, of Glasgow, is the owner of Jobe Publishing. Jobe will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2018.

Agriculture Water Quality Authority

  • Allan Bryant, of Eminence, is a farmer. Bryant will serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2020. He will represent the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts.
  • Joseph Platt Sisk, of Hopkinsville, is a farmer. Sisk will serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2018. He will represent at-large agriculture operations.
  • Joseph Lawrence Thomas, of Elizabethtown, is a farmer. Thomas will serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2020. He will represent the Kentucky Farm Bureau Foundation.
  • Amanda Gumbert, of Lexington, is a water quality coordinator for the University of Kentucky. Gumbert will serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2020. She will represent the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service.
  • Charles Joseph Taylor, of Louisville, works as a water resource section head at the Kentucky Geological Survey. Taylor will serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2020. He will represent the Kentucky Geological Survey.
  • Keith L. Rogers, of Frankfort, is chief of staff for the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. Rogers will serve for a term expiring Oct. 1, 2020. He will represent the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.
