Speakers announced for 100 Wise Women leadership series

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 17, 2017) — The speaking lineup for the Delta Dental of Kentucky, Leadership Louisville Center and Today’s Woman magazine 100 Wise Women leadership series has been announced. The series is designed for emerging women leaders to share perspectives on themes presented by distinguished keynote speakers.

The first speaker, on April 18, will be Monica Hardin, who anchors the weekday morning news on WLKY in Louisville. A Louisville native, she won Miss Kentucky in 2001 and traveled more than 80,000 miles on a motivational speaking tour before beginning her TV news career.

She will speak of her personal story of being a caregiver to her parents while growing up, as well as her new phase of self-discovery as a result of motherhood and having a career that puts her in the spotlight. Following her keynote address, “wise women” table hosts will facilitate conversation, allowing women in attendance to engage in meaningful conversation and build their network of women leaders.
