f97541a8-3874-4762-a92c-e45004d5dfe7The 5th Annual i know expo will be held Sunday, April 2, 2017, in downtown Lexington at the Lexington Center.

The i know expo website at www.iknowexpo.org, states “The i know expo is a free event for people of all ages and life stages: living out their golden years; taking care of someone they love; coping with difficult health situations” or for individuals who would like to begin planning for their future. The i know expo aims to empower those in attendance with information about the services, resources and support available to make the rest of your life the best times of your life.

While attending the expo, attendees will be able to pick up material and chat with experts at over 70 individual booths. In addition, experts in the aging field will discuss, in small group sessions at 2:00pm and 3:00pm, everything from housing, dementia care, and technology, to legal and policy matters. These sessions plus the individual booths, provide an easy, and non-stressful atmosphere to learn what is available and accessible to you here in the Lexington/Bluegrass region.

The expo promises to be a lively, upbeat, engaging event that can make a real difference in your life or the life of someone you love.

The i know expo will be noon-4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 2. Tune in to Lexington Community Radio 93.9FM 3–4 p.m. Thursday, March 30, as i know expo committee members Gale Reece and Margaret McCoskey join host Lydia Jacobs to discuss the expo.
