
Chair is CEO of Thorntons
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (April 13, 2017) — The Greater Louisville Foundation Inc. announced today that it has elected a new chair and vice chair to its board of directors. The board also reappointed two members.
Board moves:
- Matt Thornton has been named chair of the board. Thornton, CEO of Thorntons Inc. since 2001, is responsible for leading Kentucky’s largest privately-held corporation which owns and operates 196 gasoline and convenience stores in Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Florida.
- Elaine “Cissy” Musselman has been named vice chair. She founded Women 4 Women, a non-profit that advocates for the advancement of women in every aspect of society. Musselman serves as a director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority and is former chair of the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau.
- C. Edward Glasscock, chairman emeritus of Frost Brown Todd, was reappointed to the board.
- Debbie Scoppechio, executive chairman of Scoppechio, was reappointed to the board.
