MOREHEAD, Ky. (April 28, 2017) — Morehead State University’s Small Business Development Center will host an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 5 at the Innovation Launchpad, 149 East Main Street in Morehead, in honor of National Small Business Week, from April 30 to May 6.
More than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year, said Morehead State University.
The East Kentucky Small Business Development Centers are located in Morehead, Pikeville and Ashland. These centers provide free one-on-one consulting services and training to new ventures and existing businesses.
Training programs, sponsored or co-sponsored by SBDC, are available to all individuals without regard to race, color, sex, creed or national origin. Special arrangements will be made for those with disabilities if requested in advance.
