Students can get an associate degree in high school
OWENSBORO, Ky. (May 9, 2017) — The Owensboro Innovation Academy and Brescia University are partnering this fall for an early college program that will allow incoming OIA juniors to earn an associate degree while in high school. The campuses are close enough that OIA students can walk to Brescia.
The partnership will also allow all OIA students to use the new health complex that is currently under construction at Brescia. Brescia will also allow OIA to use some of its chemistry lab space making it easier to offer more science classes.
OIA will host a parent information night at 6 p.m. on May 22 at 6 p.m. to let parents and students know what the next steps are to starting their degree.
