LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 11, 2017) — NBC’s airing on Sunday of the 2017 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event drew 649,000 viewers (p2+ ratings), according to the Kentucky Horse Park, which hosted the event.
Starting with 559,000 viewers, the broadcast gained momentum as the program progressed and finished at a high of 733,000 total viewers. A total of 80,700 were in attendance for the event.
The event was the second highest-rated sports program across all reported networks in the broadcast window, behind only NASCAR, which aired on FOX.
Viewership on the USEF Network was also strong with 153,999 live plays, 114,440 on-demand plays and nearly 11,000 hours of on-demand content viewed.
The 2017 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event was held from April 26-29.
