From May 22 to June 7
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 17, 2017) — A new summer workshop at the University of Kentucky will introduce high school and undergraduate students to statistics and careers in the field.
“Statistics Facts and Snacks,” scheduled from May 22 to June 7, will teach students about what a statistician does, requirements to pursue higher education in statistics,and introductory statistical programming techniques.
The workshop meets daily from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the UK Multidisciplinary Sciences building, room 333. Participants must register to attend, and participants under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian register for them.
