Kyndle accepting nominations for Nonprofit of the Year and Volunteers of the Year

Deadline May 31

HENDERSON, Ky. (May 23, 2017) — Kyndle is accepting nominations for the Nonprofit of the Year and Volunteers of the Year awards. The nomination deadline is May 31. Winners will be awarded on June 15 at the Kyndle Nonprofit of the Year Awards Breakfast at Henderson Community College.

The Kyndle Nonprofit of the Year honors an outstanding nonprofit or religious organization that is a Kyndle stakeholder serving clients in Henderson, McLean, Union and/or Webster counties. Organizations may be nominated by their staff, board, volunteers, supporter or beneficiary of their services. Organizations that are members of the McLean County, Providence, Sebree or Union County chamber of commerce are also eligible.

If the recipient is based in Henderson County, it will be awarded a $1,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Henderson, which is sponsoring the event.

Kyndle is also accepting nominations for Volunteer of the Year. Anyone volunteering with a nonprofit that is a Kyndle stakeholder or a member of the McLean County, Providence, Sebree and/or Union County chamber of commerce is eligible. One volunteer will be honored from each of the four counties. Only one volunteer from a particular organization may be nominated in each county.
