AMR Management Services celebrates 20 years serving non-profit association partners

LEXINGTON (June 1, 2017) — AMR Management Services celebrated its 20th anniversary on Thursday. John and Shirley Ruffin established AMR Management Services in June of 1997 and, since that time, has grown into one of the country’s top association management companies.

CEO and founder John Ruffin recalled, “In 1997 AMR began as a small association management company with 10 employees and six client associations. Thanks to the entrepreneurial spirit of our 80+ team members and the passion of our 24 client-partners, AMR is celebrating two decades of professional service and year-over-year growth.” Ruffin added, “I look forward to the next 20 years and the opportunities ahead of us to continue making a positive difference in our country and beyond through AMR’s service to professional and trade associations, their members and the communities they serve.”

AMR President and Chief Operating Officer Nick Ruffin shared, “AMR has been a family affair for us and I like to think that one of the reasons for our long-standing success. We’ve created a camaraderie among AMR’s stakeholders that has translated into the relationships we’ve built with our client-partners. So, while we look back at the last 20 years, we’re excited about our continued evolution and what is to come in the next 20!”
