LOUISVILLE (June 2, 2017) – ACG Kentucky will host the 9th annual Mid-South ACG Capital Connection June 15 – 16 at the Marriott Downtown Hotel. Sponsored by both ACG Kentucky and ACG Tennessee, the event is the chapters’ cornerstone program and one of the largest revenue opportunities of its kind in the region.

ACG worldwide represents 90,000 investors, executives, lenders and advisers to growing middle-market companies.

Louisville-based Pallas Partners CEO and Founder Matthew Saltzman, this year’s chair, describes the conference as “a way to bring together private equity firms, bankers, attorneys – all components of people in the capital market – to discuss potential deals and meet strategic partners they’re not familiar with. It’s also a great way to interact with others involved in Mergers & Acquisitions and other aspects of finance and deal making.”

Also featured is a Reverse Capital Connection, which Saltzman describes “as the time when investment banks come in with their own clients that they’re marketing, and private equity firms sign-up because they may be shopping for a deal.”

Other planned activities include Churchill Downs Twilight Racing and Kentucky Bourbon Tasting.

Kicking off the second day is a breakfast and keynote speech by Terry Gill, Kentucky Cabinet Secretary for Economic Development, followed by The Capital Connection, which Saltzman says will include “30 private equity firms who have capital to invest to exhibit to those seeking capital.”  The event concludes with break-out sessions and a boxed lunch.

Deadline for registering is June 13. Participants should contact Barry Steiger at (502) 708-4701. For more information, please visit http://www.acg.org/tennessee.
