Presentation Academy announces winners of 2017 Tower Awards

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 6, 2017) — Presentation Academy has announced the recipients of the 2017 Tower Awards. 

Now in its 22nd year, the Tower Awards is an annual mission-driven event honoring women leaders in their fields and highlighting the contributions and talents of these role models to Presentation Academy students and the Kentuckiana community.

Winner will be honored during an during an awards dinner on Oct. 5 in the Ballroom of the Louisville Marriott Downtown.

2017 Tower Award recipients:

  • Arts and Communication — Deborah Wexler, vice president of Corporate Communications, GE Appliances – a Haier company
  • Business Technology and Trade — Elizabeth Kizito, founder and president, Kizito Cookies
  • Education — Donna George ’66, adjunct faculty, Georgetown College
  • Government and Law —Sheila A. Seadler, division chief in the Adult Trial Division, Louisville Metro Public Defender’s Office
  • Science and Healthcare — Charlotte Ipsan, DNP, RNC, NNP-BC, FACHE, chief administrative officer, Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital
  • Service and Advocacy — Judy A. Lambeth, president & CEO, Maryhurst
  • Lifetime Achievement Award — Edna V.  Fabre, SCN, Sisters of Charity of Nazareth
