Gov. Bevin makes appointments to boards and commissions

Includes Kentucky Real Estate Commission

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 15, 2017) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions.

Pediatric Cancer Research Trust Fund Board:

  • Ashok Raj, of Louisville, is a physician at the University of Louisville. He will serve for the remainder of an unexpired term ending Sept. 1, 2019.

The Pediatric Cancer Trust Fund Board was created for the purpose of administering and distributing funds from the trust.

Kentucky Real Estate Commission:

  • Shirley Wiseman, of Lexington, is homebuilder and realtor. She will represent real estate licensees and serve for a term expiring June 15, 2020.

The Kentucky Real Estate Commission was created to examine, regulate and license real estate brokers and sales associates throughout the state. It is composed of five gubernatorial appointees.
