Gov. Bevin makes appointments to Kentucky Board of Nursing

FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 20, 2017) — Gov. Matt Bevin has made three appointments to the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

Appointments:

  • Teresa Huber, of Maysville, is a nurse on faculty at Northern Kentucky University. She will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2020.
  • Gail Elaine Wise, of Mayslick, is a professor of nursing at Kentucky Christian University. She has been reappointed and will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2020.
  • Dina Byers, of Murray, is an associate professor of nursing at Murray State University. She has been reappointed and will serve for a term expiring June 30, 2020.

The Board of Nursing is composed of 16 gubernatorial appointees. The board approves programs for nursing and regulates the licensing and conduct of nurses within the commonwealth.
