Named a top facility manager
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 28, 2017) — Dennis Petrullo, general manager of the KFC Yum! Center, was named a top facility manager by Sports Business Journal as part of the industry leading publication’s Power Players series that recognizes prominent figures in various areas of the sports industry.
Sports Business Journal said their editorial staff selected the Power Players “based on their experience and leadership; the revenue generated by the facility or facilities they manage; their ability to train and mentor staff; and the creativity they have exhibited keeping their venues booked throughout the year.”
Petrullo has been general manager since 2012 when AEG Facilities took over management of the 22,000-seat downtown Louisville arena. Petrullo is in regular contact with dozens of promoters to secure major performing acts as well as with the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau to book conventions and special events. He also oversees all venue operations and has an active role with the Louisville Arena Authority. Prior to taking on his current role, Petrullo served as senior vice president and general manager of St. Louis’s Scottrade Center.
