KEDFA approves the construction of a $5.150 million plastic recycling facility in London

FRANKFORT, Ky. (July 27, 2017) – The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority at its monthly meeting Thursday approved tax incentives for expanding the exiting operations of Southeast Solutions Inc. in London, Ky. Total investment in the construction of the new manufacturing facility is $5.150 million.

Southeast Solutions Inc. is a recycling company that will take scrap polyester and polypropylene products and process it into plastic pellets. The pellets will be used in many different components for many different industries. The products include fiber, firm, extrusion, sheet packaging and strapping industries. The company is considering a start up facility in London to produce plastic pellets for a variety of products.

Total tax incentives approved are $600,000 for a project that will create 10 jobs at an average salary of $16 per hour, with a projected job target of 30 jobs in 15 years.
