KEDFA approves the construction of a $1.248 million manufacturing facility in Erlanger

FRANKFORT, Ky. (July 27, 2017) – The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority at its monthly meeting Thursday approved tax incentives for expanding the exiting operations of Beam Technologies LLC in Erlanger, Ky. Total investment in the construction of the new manufacturing facility is $1.248 million.

In 2012, Beam Dental opened for business in Louisville as a high-tech dental insurance/benefits company. Since that time, the company has grown as grown and expanded into Ohio. Beam Technologies LLC is considering opening a manufacturing facility in Boone County to produce and distribute its own smart toothbrushes and respond to new market demands.

Total tax incentives approved are $300,000 for a project that will create 15 jobs at an average salary of $19.50 per hour, with a projected job target of 40 jobs in 10 years.
