WDRB.com: Gov. Bevin says Kentucky will fight for new $1.6B Toyota-Mazda plant

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 8, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin said Kentucky will be going full throttle to convince Japanese automakers Toyota and Mazda that the Bluegrass state is the ideal location for a $1.6 billion factory they plan to build in the United States, WDRB.com reported Tuesday.

The automakers announced the joint venture on Friday, saying they hadn’t settled on a location for the plant that will produce Toyota Corolla cars and new cross-over models for Mazda. For more on this story go to WDRB.com.
