Powerball reaches $700 million, 2nd largest jackpot in game history

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday night’s drawing has just been raised to $700 million, with a cash option of $443.3 million.

This is now the 2nd largest jackpot in Powerball game history, and the 2nd largest jackpot ever offered in North American history, surpassed only by last year’s $1.6 billion world-record jackpot.
