Gov. Bevin makes appointments to Kentucky boards and commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Aug. 30, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

Tierra Kavanaugh Turner, Scott Flynn, Donna Hall, Christopher Todoroff and Sandra Frazier have been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Center for the Arts.

• Tierra Kavanaugh Turner, of Louisville, is owner and CEO of TKT & Associates, Inc. She will serve for a term expiring April 29, 2021.
• Scott Flynn, of Anchorage, is a CPA. He will serve for a term expiring April 29, 2021.
• Donna Hall, of Lexington, is retired. She will serve for a term expiring April 29, 2021.
• Christopher Todoroff, of Louisville, is senior vice president and general counsel for Humana. He will serve for a term expiring April 29, 2021.
• Sandra Frazier, of Louisville, is the managing member of Tandem Public Relations. She will serve for a term expiring April 29, 2021.

The Board of Directors of the Kentucky Center for the Arts supervises construction of the Kentucky Center for the Arts and consults and enters into agreements with other segments of the arts and entertainment industry that are consistent with the mission. The Board promotes growth and development of the arts, convention trade, tourism and the hotel industry within Jefferson County and the Commonwealth through utilization of the Center and activities authorized to enhance these and public interest.

Connie Allen, Brandon Wilson and Denise D’Angelo have been appointed to the Kentucky Military History Museum Committee.

• Connie Allen, of Harrodsburg, is an engineer. She will represent the Kentucky Historical Society and serve for a term expiring December 31, 2019.
• Brandon Wilson, of Russell Springs, is a salesman and consultant at Southeast Kia. He will represent the Kentucky Historical Society and serve for a term expiring December 31, 2019.
• Denise D’Angelo, of Finchville, is an attorney. She will represent the Kentucky Historical Society and serve for a term expiring December 31, 2019.

The Kentucky Military History Museum Committee consists of 12 gubernatorial appointees. The Committee establishes policies and procedures for operation of the Kentucky Military History Museum in Frankfort.

Michael Stone has been appointed to the Kentucky Licensing Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments.

• Michael Stone, of Paducah, is a hearing instrument specialist. He will represent specialists in hearing instruments and serve for a term expiring July 31, 2020.

The Kentucky Licensing Board for Specialists in Hearing Instruments regulates and controls the licensing, conduct and operation of hearing instruments within the Commonwealth.

Dr. Bradley Todd Fulkerson has been appointed to the Kentucky Board of Dentistry.

• Dr. Bradley Todd Fulkerson, of Henderson, is a pediatric dentist. He will represent licensed dentists and serve for a term expiring June 30, 2021.

The Kentucky Board of Dentistry regulates and controls the licensing and conduct of dentists within the Commonwealth.
